What a beauty!
Our family of five had another place booked for a ski trip to Greek Peak, and that reservation fell through the day before our trip, due to a problem at the house. After scrambling through VRBO, we found this house and were able to book it last minute. What luck that turned out to be! The house is warm and inviting, really well furnished and stocked, couches and beds both super comfy, and the fireplace completes the vibe. The back porch overlooks Song Lake, which is as beautiful as its name. Check in was simple, and Chris and Michelle are helpful, friendly hosts. The only downer was having to leave! We hope to come back, for sure.

Perfect Escape
The Family Lake House is a wonderful place to relax and recharge. The screened porch with morning coffee was so nice! The view of the lake and the peace and quiet was so nice. Fishing was fun from the shore and out in the lake in one of the many available boats. Inside, the house was very clean and fully stocked. Highly recommend!

The house was cozy, warm, inviting and everything you'd look for with a family of 6. The linen were clean, the house spectacular and the owners were the best my family and I could ask for. 5 out of 5 stars, highly recommend.

Amazing relaxing lake time
We loved this lake house! The pictures don't do it justice. It's very welcoming and comfy. The weather didn't cooperate but we had a great time anyway. There are lots of games to choose from and our family enjoyed many of them. We even ordered one that was new to us so we could continue to enjoy it. We had everything we needed there. The recommendations were greatly appreciated and we enjoyed shopping at Anderson's farm market. If you are looking for a place to hang out as a family or group of friends, this is the place. Reading in the screened porch while my family kayaked was perfect. I highly recommend this getaway! We would definitely consider coming back!

Even Better Than Photos
We rented this lovely house for my daughter's college graduation. It was the perfect base for the weekend. As others have noted, the home is even better in person. The owners have thought of every detail. We loved having coffee on the peaceful screened porch.The shower is especially awesome and the beds are comfortable.We all were a little sad to leave.

Schwierk Family College Tours
This adorable house was perfect for our family while we were in the area touring colleges with our daughter. It is adorable, tastefully decorated, beds/furniture are comfortable, and sitting around the fire after touring colleges in the rain was a perfect way to end our day. The listing and photos are 100% accurate. We hope to come back soon to enjoy the lake, wineries, and all the outdoor activities in the area. Thank you for being amazing host!

Beautiful Thanksgiving Getaway
We enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving getaway at this beautiful lake house. We had stayed here the previous fall and loved it so much we came back again this year. The house had everything we needed, including a fully stocked kitchen, so we could prepare our Thanksgiving meal. I would highly recommend a stay at this lovely lake house.

An absolute gem!
We stayed here while visiting multiple colleges and universities in the region. So happy we found it. Besides the access to schools, there's skiing, golf, swimming and kayaking. So much to do or just sit relax and take in the view. Beautiful!

Had an beautiful week with my siblings and 92 year old mom who is suffering from altzeimers. Just watching her smile at the lake during sunrise and all the birds was priceless!! Beautiful home , great location!!

Nice Lake House
This is a great property - exceptionally clean and really comfortable. I loved that there were seasonal touches - little decorations for autumn - it made it that much more cozy and welcoming. FYI for people curious about checkout duties - this property does require check out duties such as stripping the beds, starting the dishwasher, emptying the fridge and taking out the trash.

Lovely Fall Stay on Song Lake
My husband and I and our two adult children stayed at this beautiful home for a long weekend in mid October. The home was absolutely perfect and very comfortable for the four of us. The communication both before and during our stay was great. I had asked for restaurant recommendations, and Chris sent me a great list in advance if our stay. The home was spotless and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable and we all slept great. We visited the Beak and Skiff apple orchard, went for a hike at Labrador Hollow, and spent an afternoon in charming Skaneateles. The fall colors were at their peak, which was the icing on the cake. Thank you, Chris and Michelle, for a beautiful weekend on Song Lake!

The house was Beautiful, Clean, well Furnished and well Kept. Pictures from Vrbo were exactly what we walked into Absolutely PERFEECT!!!!! This was an amazing trip.
This was an awesome trip. Came in autumn for my birthday. Definitely need to come in the winter so I can get in the lake. Very nice cozy cottage. Host was extremely helpful cause we had a family emergency and had to change somethings around. Well be back.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home on Song Lake. We appreciated the use of the kayaks and canoes as well as the various lawn and board games that came fully stocked in the house. The s'mores ingredients were an extra special touch! My kids have already asked if we can come back to this house every summer. Thank you!

Perfect lake house retreat
This was our second summer time stay at this rental, as we are always so pleased with everything this lake house has to offer. The owners put so much effort and detail to make this a comfortable experience, and not to mention fun! From the row boats, kayaks, paddle boards, canoe, and games in the shed- there's endless fun. Most of all we enjoyed fishing with our kids! The lake house is always in pristine condition, the beds are comfortable, AC works great, and you can't beat the views and sound of nature around. Loved sitting on the screened in porch! The owners are so personable, attentive, and kind. Can't wait to come back!
