“This hotel surpassed expectations from a service and amenities standpoint. It was easy to find and there were plenty of dining options nearby. We had a family of 6 split into 2 rooms and they were kind enough to provide 2 rooms that were beside each other for us. ”

“We stayed two nights with 2 meals included. Dinner is buffet with four kinds of snow crab. This never appear in other Japan hotel. One suggestion is the roast beef is pre-cut and is cool when served. Onsen is good and big but no ice pool. Overall, value for money choice.”

“We enjoyed our stay at susuranso, The staff were so helpfull , even organised tickets for komagatake ropeway for us. The hotel is very clean and has great views of the surrounding mountains.”

“Futon style. I paid extra for room facing the river. Waking up to river flowing sound is pretty therapeutic. The room has a toilet bowl room attached with hand washer. But for face and teeth brushing, you will need to go to common bathroom area. Onsen is said to have medicinal properties. There's nothing much around that area.
