「It was a bit hard to find the driveway initially. The driveway was pretty tight and we couldn't bring the boat all the way to the cabin, but we made due and left it off to the side of the driveway. The cabin is a nice, quiet retreat for those looking to get away. We enjoyed the firepit and the walk down the trail.」

「8 college friends gathered at this property, a short drive to Sacandaga Lake. Large fully stocked kitchen, dining room seats 10, living room with fireplace and TV, plenty of sleeping space. Was easily able to communicate with owner and hope to return soon.」

「We had a lovely time at Hemlock Haven! We spent several days mining for Herkimer diamonds and the cabin was an excellent place to relax after spending the day outside. It is fairly quiet, cozy, and pretty easy to drive to. The hosts had a few extra touches to make it even more welcoming. Definitely recommend for a little R&R!!」

「We had 12 full sized adults in our party. The Black Creek cabin had a nice communal area, but inadequate bedding for our adults. With only one bedroom on the first floor, and one adult who couldn’t use stairs, she had to have the one bedroom with a king bed. That left one couple for the second bedroom with a king bed. The two good size bedrooms served three people, leaving nine single people in the remaining two double beds. With one person in each double bed, that left seven people on sofa...

「Had a great time with a bunch of friends for the Eclipse. Property was nice and spacious, with plenty of activities in the house. Beautiful sky at night due to low light pollution.」

「The cottage was definitely older but was clean. The bathroom looked like it been redone recently and the kitchen had everything you would need to prepare your meals. The view from the cottage is much better than the impression you get from the online photos. The best part about the property is the location. The Griffis Road Marina is in a very secluded cove and is very calm. We had our Seadoo docked there for 6 days and rode over 200 miles during our stay. The Lake is Beautiful with many small...

「Great cabin - clean, comfy beds and very quiet! Only complaint was the house water had an awful sulphur smell and we couldn’t drink it. Even taking showers & brushing teeth was unpleasant. Would suggest getting a whole house water filter and then the property would be 5 star!」

「We had a fantastic time at this property. Very comfortable setting, everything you need is right there. We stayed out by the fire pit deep into the night and were lucky enough to hear a great-horned owl in the distance. Really nice spot, super nice people, Especially Emily, very talented and charming host. We will be back!!」
