"I recently stayed at the Gainsborough Spa Hotel, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Bath, making it easy to explore the city’s iconic sights. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the spa facilities. The thermal spa is absolutely stunning, with a series of warm and cool pools that feel incredibly rejuvenating. I particularly enjoyed the infrared sauna, which offered a more gentle heat and left me feeling completely relaxed. The serene atmosphere of the spa made it easy to unwind, and I appreciated the thoughtful little touches like chilled water and plush towels throughout. The room itself was beautifully designed—elegant yet cosy, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the attention to detail in the decor really enhanced the overall experience. I would highly recommend the Gainsborough Spa Hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway in Bath. "Stayed here as part of a pre wedding day stay. The staff were attentive and friendly and couldn’t do more! I would definitely stay here again. Had a nice spa with pool, sauna and treatments too. Wonderful surroundings too. I would highly recommend!"

"The hotel was excellent. Parking was so convenient (being next door). The staff on reception and particularly in the breakfast resturant were brilliant and couldnt have been nicer. The room and the hotel lounge were of a very high standard. Certainly from now on my go to hotel in Bristol."

"Stayed here for both night before holiday to Egypt and also night after arriving back, to catch flight back to Belfast the next morning. Both late arrivals and early starts. Hotel was few minutes walk from terminal, well signposted and good flat / disabled access for suitcases or wheelchairs. Check in very efficient and simple. Rooms spacious and spotless. Missed breakfast both mornings (due to me being late) but had a Quick Look, numerous options both hot and cold. Would make sure if staying again to make time for it. Only two small criticisms - 1- no bottled water in room, bit of a pain when arriving late at night and having to go to reception to buy some. 2- quality of toiletries in bathroom quite poor, felt very cheap and actually burned my skin a little. Otherwise very reasonable price for modern and clean hotel. Would stay again "
