"This cabin is in a beautiful setting, on a grass knoll above the Maury river. There are trails and birds everywhere. The cabin in comfortable, with a large shared kitchen/living area, but in nice weather, you'll want to spend most time on the front porch! We planned on doing more exploring, but the cabin area was too relaxing and enjoyable so we mostly hung out. "Even with 3 other cabins with guests clustered nearby we still felt like we were secluded. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We spent hours on the deck listening to the river or relaxing by the fire pit. Remote location but with lots to do just a short drive away if you choose. "The upper loft with the spiral stairs is smaller than the picture made it appear. None of us felt okay sleeping up there since the stairs would be tricky/dangerous to navigate in the dark to use the restroom at night. I'm sure little kids would love it (just not 40+ year olds😂).
