"This was a beautiful, historic property, with many amenities and a lovely garden - all with parking too! You have everything you need for a high end experience right in the heart of Charleston. The hosts are welcoming and have provided many nice touches. The beds are comfortable and the linens a notch or two above what you usually experience. The apt. is spacious and feels like home. I loved the kitchen! All in all a wonderful stay! "

"The location can’t be beat. The neighborhood is extraordinarily special. Take time to just walk the streets. The property’s garden is lovely to sit and enjoy. The house itself is traditional from the late 1700’s so set your expectations appropriately. We loved historical Charleston and this property was perfect "

"Could not say enough great things about this rental!! The Host was SO helpful and accommodating to our group. The house was a hidden gem, was so clean, beautiful and the perfect size. The rental is a short Uber ride to downtown. "

"The town of Summerville is a perfect getaway and the Cottage was in a great location in a quiet neighborhood. The Cottage is small, but not too small. We found it to be perfect for us. It was by far the cleanest ABNB that we have stayed in. They owners are doing a little work around the property, but that did not detract from the experience. One earlier post mentioned the train that goes through town; we did here it, but it was not a bother. Great for couples and we plan to return."

"Outdoor experience was fabulous. The lagoon and nature surrounding it was perfect. Furniture was comfortable. The screened in porch could use more housekeeping."

"The property was pretty much as described, except for the parking. The listing had offstreet parking included however, when we arrived, we found it that was no longer the case. Parking passes for the street were delivered to us before we arrived, and that solution worked out fairly well. We enjoyed the amenities of the property, including a very well stocked kitchen. "We are truly enjoyed our stay at this cute property. Our trip was cancelled due to hurricane Helene in Florida, so it was the last minute booking. The area is very nice and quite , beach is 5 min walking . Would love to come back in a future ."

"Our daughter lives in the area and it was very convenient to be able to see her. It was away from all the hubbub and in a quiet neighborhood yet it was a good starting point for all the area has to offer. Not too far from the IOP Conn for beach access. Actually more room than we thought."

"My husband, 1 year old, and I traveled to Charleston to celebrate my birthday. We had a great time and the hotel set the tone for the trip. My first impression of the hotel is how warm and welcoming everyone is. The rooms are clean, the beds were beyond comfortable (the sheets are heavenly!), and the location can’t be beat. Traveling with a toddler is not for the faint of heart and wanting to be prepared, I overpacked…which meant we left in a hurried mess each day. Our hotel housekeeper, Irena, was a delight. I can’t say enough positive things about how helpful she was to us and she became a familiar and always cheerful face we saw each day. She took extra time and care to help tidy up the room in a way that went above and beyond what was expected. I believe she deserves to be recognized for making our stay at the Charleston Place extra special. We were sure to get her name before leaving, so I’m hoping this recognition makes it to the right person. It’s the little things most of the time that sets a hotel apart and we will definitely stay here again. "

Beautiful and Thoughtful Hotel

"Such a wonderful place to stay. Beautiful hotel and such thoughtful detailed amenities. Details like the water bottles and each floor having a water dispenser, coffee station on every floor and the complimentary drinks. We especially loved the complimentary bikes that we used to ride through Charleston. Would love to come back again"

"The check in was easy. The room we had was right on the corner of the building and the traffic noise was terrible. The staff was very friendly. The shower in our room could have been cleaned better. Overall the hotel was refreshing and clean. "
