We stayed at the hotel for the intention to get away for a night, specifically requesting late check out. Hotel was fine, clean, etc. However, someone decided to fire up what sounded like a power washer at 9 a.m. on a Sunday morning right outside our window. After about 40 minutes i called the front desk, and it stopped within a couple minutes. On check out, i asked what it was and the front desk was unaware we had even called. While we don't expect special treatment, the least the hotel could do was to insure disruptions like this occur later in the day, or offer something as a minor compensation. It seemed like the desk clerk could care less that this occurred. No less that it was the time change weekend. In today's climate, customer service and loyalty should not be taken for granted. At least we were not in the area of the hotel, where all the sports kids were running the halls.
