Private location in less crowded area of St Augustine
The hosts were easy to communicate with and answered all of our pre trip questions about the property. The location is in a less commercialized area of St Augustine which was very nice and the beach was not crowded. Nice long stretch of beach. The walk to the beach was a little further and more strenuous than we were expecting with carrying the chairs and tent but there are two public beach access points within blocks where you can drive on to the beach.

Amazing location
It is a block off the beach with very convenient access via a sand path. You have good views is the ocean from the house. The pool is a nice bonus. The neighborhood is nice. The AC worked well. Be advised, there are no indoor stairs to go between the upstairs and downstairs, which is an issue if you have young children, as one of the bedrooms is down there. There was not a way to enter through the downstairs door. Furniture and cleanliness were average to below average, but the price for location is great. So, a bit of a compromise. Property managers are easy to deal with and there is good communication.

Birthday Weekend
Got away to St. Augustine for our twin's sweet 16 birthday. Rental was in a central location to the activities we planned. There were a couple of maintenance issues but the team took care of them promptly. The pool was heated and the girls enjoyed it. The house is older and in need of some updating and minor repairs. The beach is close but a challenging walk up and down the dunes. Not ideal for our elderly guests. All in all the rental was a good experience in a central location and we would go back again.

Great little area!
We had a blast here! the kids loved the heated pool, especially on some cooler days. The beach was only a quick little walk down a path and the only "road" you had to cross only had other house traffic. So to say, "it wasn't busy at all," was still an exaggeration. We'd definitely book again

Dont Even Hesitate
Selfishly I'd love to say something negative so this home is always available when we travel to St. Augustine, but that would 100% be a lie.... This place had it all, and it starts with the location and views. Plenty of space for our entire party, all thr modern amenities you expect, excellent communication from David and his team, and a heated pool in case the beach isnt for you. From start to finish we LOVED it! To have an opportunity every morning to watch the sunrise over the ocean, from the upstairs balcony, was incredible. Bonus points for the elevator which made bringing in our luggage a breeze. Again, no reason to think about this one, its one of a kind!

Great place to stay
We had a great time staying at Atlantic Splash. This house is 2-story home with an elevator to take you up & down. Great for Friends & Families staying together. Beach is steps from house. Comfortable, Clean, easy to access, owners easy to communicate with and very accommodating! Heated pool was great during this fall Nov weather. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful spot right by the beach!
We absolutely loved this property. Short walk down a path to the beach directly from the backyard. The heated pool was so nice for us since we had a few cold days during our stay. Our boys (1 and 4) loved the elevator and thought it was the coolest thing to see in a house. Our family stayed on the floor level with a king bed, futon and bathroom but was nice to have the privacy of our own floor while the in laws were upstairs. Nice short drive to the main city for shops and dining. Easy to find and has lots of amenities for us upon arrival. Had lots of beach chairs to use, pool toys and accessories, lots of towels, sheets and blankets, toiletries and other things. The garage was clear and we were able to park in it and set up a corn hole game on the colder days. All in all we really loved staying here!

Home away from home
Our stay was perfect!! The house was just as described in the listing. The heated pool was an absolute luxury, being the sun didn't come out during our stay and the air temps were in the low 60's. The elevator was a godsend for us getting up in age and the ocean views were Heavenly! The house is directly next to the public access walkway to the beach, which shouldn't be missed!! You can walk for miles on the sand and enjoy the beautiful sounds of the Ocean!! We loved our stay and love St Augustine!!!

Close to everything we wanted, food, shopping, golf, and the beach. The elevator was good to have, a couple of our party has difficulty with steps. Plenty of space to gather and plenty of space for privacy. Dogs enjoyed too.

This was the 2nd time our family stayed at this house. Once again it was great. Love the location and the views. Had trouble getting the downstairs door open but David was really good about helping us out. Everything was clean.

So Perfect That We Came Back!
This was our second time staying at Atlantic Splash. Nothing beats the location, private pool, and overall condition of the property. If you’re looking for a family-friendly stay that feels like your home away from home, this is the booking for you. The elevator makes the loading and unloading process a breeze. The dune walk directly across the street is great, and just a short walk down Atlantic View is a public access boardwalk that my family enjoyed using as well. We are looking forward to making memories here again next year!

Location is perfect!
I loved the location, practically on the beach with ocean view from balcony! My family had a lot of fun! The only thing that I think could have been a little better would have been better kitchen supplies, silverware bigger bowls etc we cooked in a lot with 3 kids but other than that it was wonderful!

Overall our stay At Atlantic Splash was good. The Christmas weekend we spent was very cold so we did not get out to use a lot of the facilities. The kitchen was not stocked with some basic cooking necessities ( cutting board or decent silverware or enough steak knives) The only other issue was the mattress and box springs in the bedroom with the queen bed. The bed was very squeaky and was very difficult to sleep because if your husband/wife just moved the bed squeaked so loudly that it would wake you up . They definitely need a new bed in that room. The location was good and it was a very quiet neighborhood. The outside of the house needs some attention ( maybe a good powerwash). The garage door was working but the first panel was cracked and bowed. We were afraid to use it because we thought it might break completely. The elevator was unique and came in handy because my son in law had just had surgery and would have had a difficult time going up and down the stairs. Overall the house was clean when we arrived and we enjoyed our stay! Thank you David for sharing Atlantic splash with my family!

Awesome proximity to the beach and heated pool!
We loved our stay! Easy walk to the beach and the heated pool made the trip in December. Nice house needs a little refresh and we would have really appreciated a different way than the elevator to the downstairs but it was such a great time. Easy ride to the historical district of St. Augustine.

Great location, clean and comfortable
Our stay was great. Property management was prompt and easy to communicate with. We arrived right after the hurricane and we were kept informed of property condition. They also made sure it was ready by the check in time. The view is beautiful and it was great having a heated pool. The furnishings are not brand new as other reviewers have mentioned but I didn’t expect them to be. It is a place that is rented by a lot of people. It was clean and comfortable and I felt the pictures were still good representation of what you are getting. We would most definitely want to stay here again.

Our trip was wonderful, as we enjoyed the location of the property to the beach, and enjoyed the pool as well. The beds were very comfortable, and the house was very clean and welcoming. The lay-out was a little different with the interior elevator and exterior stairs, but worked well with my handicap mother. I wish there would have been an actual key to get in/out of the house, as the keypad could be a bit temperamental. But got used to it. Overall our stay was fun and relaxing and enjoyed the small beach town surroundings.

This was a short walk to an awesome beach, not too crowded at all. Kids had fun with the elevator. Was sort of a pain with no control for the garage outside (someone had to stay in to close it and go out a separate door on the other side of the house). Sent a message about the garbage disposal not turning on, but didn't get any reply from the owner. All in all, was a great location, plenty of room for everyone and definitely way more pluses than minuses :) Oh and pool was awesome too!

Beautiful Location
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. It was close to the beach, and the heated pool was nice even on cooler days. The layout of the home is a bit strange with only an elevator and an outside staircase to get to the lower floor, but our teenage daughter loved having her own private apartment. Lots to do in the area. We would stay again!
