"It’s quaint and charming cabin. Our first time to Vermont, seeing the colors and Stowe. Great location. Beds were very comfortable. Everything was nice and clean. Easy to find and check in. Maude was quick to communicate and gave recommendations that were helpful. A welcoming gift of pancake mix and Vermont maple syrup was waiting on the counter for us. I would definitely stay again and would recommend Maude’s place. "

"Directions in binder where private Sandy Beach is located...( Path by railroad tiles ...just passed the crossing Oil all door hinges ..that way won't wake up others that are still sleeping...since no AC in bedrooms have to leave doors open to be comfortable in the bedrooms. Remote died and no AAA batteries, so went and bought some at DG store New grill ..that one worked but not hot only front part had flames...no way to cook food for 5 people. Door code only work to get in...so couldn't lock...

"First of all. We didn’t know the water wasnt potable so we had to grab our own. When we pulled up it’s a barn attached to a house and you have to walk up two flights of stairs to get to the “apartment” it’s a barn so lots of black flies upstairs so we didn’t use the beds. Spiders all over the place. Beach was beautiful and overall the place was very peaceful but the shower we didn’t use because we didn’t trust the water. Not a place I would take a child under 7. "My husband and I along with our pup had an amazing time. We wanted a clean, convenient, quiet place to get away and do some hiking. The location and value was great! Near everything you need! "We’re two families who vacation together (4 kids + 2 dogs). We were looking to e plate beyond Stowe and perhaps have a little more room. Sterling Ridge was perfect. We had space and privacy but also felt well-supported by the owners. The location was great. We did a long ride on the bike trail and Jeffersonville is a short ride to Stowe / Hyde Park / Burlington. And it was so absolutely quiet at night. We’ll definitely come back next year"
