This place is close to the Spokane Convention Center, The Podium, Gonzaga, etc. - easy drive to these places. The specific street that it's on is not so nice - the houses nearby are pretty shabby. However, there was nothing that struck me as unsafe. Because it's an apartment setup, if you're running to your car to get something, to have to leave two doors unlocked. But the keycode locks worked well.
Inside, the place is not very big. There is not really a kitchen table per se, just a tall table that's awkwardly place in the living room and that didn't fit well in the kitchen either. The place is clean (maybe too clean - smelled strongly like Febreeze). The beds are comfortable and bedding seemed pretty new. The kitchen appliances seemed mostly pretty new. The wi-fi was solid. The bathroom is really small but the water warmed up quickly and there's good water pressure.
A few minor improvements would help a lot. The icemaker was not working (reported to property owner but not addressed during our stay) and there is no ice tray, so we had to go to 7-11 to buy ice. There is no wine opener. The bowls are all plastic. The checkout instructions on the wall said we didn't have to do anything while the owner e-mailed us with a short list of to-do's (which was no problem but would be nice if there was a consistent set of checkout instructions). A shelf or other way to get more bathroom space to set toiletries would be a good upgrade.
Overall not a bad place, and great proximity to downtown. Definitely more of a budget stay.
