"This was a great cabin. Check-in was easy with keyless entry to a clean, well laid out modern cabin with two bedrooms separated by the one bathroom was more than enough room for me and my husband. But the back deck with the lake view was just wonderful. Sitting out there watching the lake, and the boats was very peaceful and relaxing. Any problems or concerns were taken remedied by the rental staff. (we had none, but they were there if needed) Will rent again."

"This vacation home is perfect for a couple or a couple with a teen that wants their own space. The location was excellent. A few miles from downtown Chimney Rock, right on a Lake Lure quiet cove, and a 1 minute drive from a nice lakeside restaurant. We very much enjoyed waking up early in the morning, making a cup of coffee, and sitting on the balcony off the bedroom to watch the mist rise off the lake as the morning fisherman slowly moved past. "The view is a swampy puddle in the back yard. The dock is overgrown with brush blocking any water flow. The back yard is so steep there is a rope tethered from the tree to the bottom to help you get down and up. There is also a big drop off on the side of the driveway that is not mentioned at all in the description. "We loved the set up of this house for the best views. The porch was fantastic for all times of day and various weather we had. We brought a toddler and teenagers. This house was great for both. We appreciated a door that closes off the stairs if needed for small children. No other homes are in view when enjoying amenities outside the home.
