"The owners and staff were very friendly and kind. Unfortunately the radiator didn't work in our bedroom but the bed was very comfortable and warm once your were in it. Breakfast was delicious so was the evening meal. We shall definitely be back after the renovations. Will recommend to family and friends. "

"I needed a night away it was so peaceful. The log cabin was cosy and warm with firewood provided to light a fire . The man who welcomed me started the fire and was helpful. The cabin had everything you would need it was beautiful but most importantly it was so clean and tidy I will definitely be returning "

"The bar and restaurant are great and the food is exceptional, one of the best meals I have had! I stayed in Room 15, which I have stayed in before, which is a bit on the small side and could do with a tea making table instead of having to use the bedside table. The worst issue is that on both occasions', the room has a strong smell of "drains/damp" Whilst I would happily stay here again, I would not stay in this room again"
