Perfect stay
My wife and I loved our stay at Amy’s by the Sea - comfortable, well maintained, well stocked with necessities. The location was perfect, an easy walk to the ocean beach in one direction and to the Blue Willow in the other. There was easy access for cycling, whether on the road or the bike path. The deck was a lovely place to eat and the outdoor shower a treat. Jackie was a very responsive host. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

A Perfect Spot
This cottage is the epitome of a Cape Cod vacation. A perfect location with the beach within easy walking distance and a slow of biking and hiking trails right outside the door. A classic cottage with all amenities. We'll be back again for sure!

Perfect Perfect Perfect
Amy’s Cottage was the perfect getaway, super clean, well equipped and peaceful. Location was perfect for beach access, trail walking, running, bike trail and takeout every morning at PB Boulangerie bakery! Jackie is the perfect host. Extremely responsive and accommodating. Third year in a row staying at this hidden gem
This was our third year booking Amy’s Cottage and we just can’t say enough about it. The location is perfect, walking distance to the beach, bike path and the most amazing French bistro! The neighborhood is quiet but close to everything we love to do. The cottage is the perfect size for our family of 3. We LOVE the outdoor shower, deck and the kitchen is great during our week long stay. Jackie (the host) is wonderful, accommodating and incredibly communicative. Looking forward to our next visit already!

Perfect location, sweet cottage
Amy’s cottage is just a perfect spot for enjoying the many pleasures of Wellfleet and the surrounding towns. The cottage is cozy and well laid out. The outdoor shower was a real plus! You are close to a yummy bakery and the bike trail and an easy walk to the beach. We would definitely return! Host was terrific from booking through departure. Five stars for sure!

Wondeful cottage!
We loved staying at this house. As other reviewers have said, it was close both to the ocean and the Rail Trail. We cooked and grilled in most days and it was extremely well supplied for that purpose. Huge back yard with gorgeous tall pine trees, which made it feel cooler than other sites we visited while on the Cape. And the back deck was lovely -- we spent half of our time there. Cannot recommend this place more

Wonderful Weekend!
Great experience from start to finish. The property owner was up front about the small size of the cottage, so we were prepared. Twenty-minute walk to the beach was ok or you can drive. Quiet neighborhood and a great French bakery down the street. Property owner was very friendly and made sure we were taken care of. Would recommend for 2 adults with 1-2 kids, or 4 adults who don't mind close quarters.

We Keep Coming Back
Love this cottage. Love the location and love Wellfleet. Even in the thick of summer, Wellfleet maintains a laid back, friendly vibe. The cottage is supremely located - love walking to the beach! And as avid joggers, the trail to the lookout is a big bonus to have right outside the door. The cottage is cozy and clean and a nice respite after a day at the beach or exploring Wellflet. Jackie is a great host!

Cottage in Great Location Wellfleet
We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It is simple but well maintained and very clean. The kitchen is serviceable for meal preparation. It is, as advertised, cozy/small. We were a couple - just two of us - yet we found it confining at times esp for meal prep. The bed was comfortable. The location is unbeatable - walk to ocean and also to cafes. The deck is comfortable but could be better appointed / landscaped for greater enjoyment of being outside. Owner was very good with communications, which we appreciated.

On the positives: * The house is close to the National Seashore which was a big plus * The house is very close to the end of Rail Trail (great for jogging and biking) * The house is close to PB Boulangeries for great breakfasts and more (expect long lines) * The kitchen is completely renovated (which we did not use) * The owner Jackie is very attentive and responsive On the negatives: * The house sits on a semi-busy road and is hard to relax, especially at daytime * The bedrooms and especially the bathroom are uncomfortably small, sometimes restricting free movement. They have not been updated like the kitchen Overall 3.5 stars

Cozy, comfortable cottage in a wonderful location, helpful owner
We found the other reviews to give us a pretty accurate sense of the cottage. Jackie is helpful and detail-oriented and everything was very well set up with clear instructions. The cottage is cozy and traditional but not as tiny as we'd feared, with plenty of room for the three of us. The location is phenomenal: we walked through the woods behind the house to the Cedar swamp trail, the top of the bluffs, and Marconi. We walked on the road to the ocean beach several times though it made me nervous because the cars go by fast; once we got our sticker we started driving to the beaches and ponds, so we could take our stuff and have our pick of lovely nearby places to swim and play in the waves. (For a bay beach, if you wish to avoid waves and shark warnings, I recommend Duck Harbor, about a 20 minute drive away). The fantastic French bakery is a quarter mile up the road. We biked out of the house to the beaches and rail trails; there is a route that takes one into the town center without having to bike on Route 6. From the cottage we could hear cars go by on the road but most of the time we didn't really notice them. There is no central AC, but the little room unit in the living room was sufficient to keep most of the cottage reasonable while we were there (outside temperatures last week went up to the mid '80s). Wifi was great for all but about 10 minutes one morning. We used the outdoor shower and hung out on the deck a lot, except the one morning it rained.

Cozy, Comfortable and Centrally Located
We've returned here year after year. Sweet, cozy little house. Amazing location; much prefer walking to beach than dealing with parking and can't beat mornings at PB's bakery. Owners are responsive and kind.

Amazing spot
My daughter and I spent the three most beautiful days here and enjoyed walking , going to the beach and wonderful restaurants in Wellfleet . This quaint property is within an easy bike ride to several beaches, and within walking distance or a short bike ride / drive from numerous local amenities. While not spacious, the accommodations are comfortable and more than adequate for a couple or small family who enjoys spending the bulk of their time outside at the Cape. Prompt and friendly communication with property owner.
