"Whether you enjoy bird watching, (the blue herons nesting) cycling, golfing, hiking or just enjoying the oceanside walks, this location is incredible. Close to Sidney and the ferries and also drivable to anywhere on the Island. We stayed for an entire month! We had family visitors on two occasions. In fact, we booked the third bedroom for one stay and had lots of room for all of us. Highly recommend it! We hope to return sometime."

"Stayed at Gordon Head Getaway for the better part of a week during spring break to visit our daughter going to school at UVIC. We picked up groceries and the kitchen was well equipped to prep and enjoy meals, beds were comfortable, everything was clean and well kept. The host Ryan responded quickly about anything. We would definitely stay again!"

"We enjoyed our weekend stay in Cowichan Bay. The only request would be a second bathroom. The location is convenient, the view was fabulous. "

The location is perfect for day trips to the Malahat Skywalk, Salt Spring island, Rathtrevor Beach and Goats on the Roof market. The house is clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. "We spent quality time with my family. We had fun exploring around the neighborhood. Were very surprised to see jelly fish in the bay. House was warm, clean and equipped with all basic things needed. "

"The house has beautiful views from the deck, living room, dining area and bedrooms. We stayed in March for a week, enjoying the large wood stove on the cold wet days and explored most of the hikes when it was warm. "

"This was a wonderful unit to stay in. Bright and lovely. Lots of room and variety of sitting options (living room, dining room, kitchen stools, porch with chairs, and outside a gazebo with seating as well).Dishwasher!They allowed my dog as well and weren't concerned if she barked too loud which was perfect because I had to leave her there for 4 hours sometimes while I visited family in Victoria and could not bring her with me. "

"We were a group of 9 cycling girlfriends from Victoria and this house was better than we expected. Having 8 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms was perfect and the living/kitchen space accommodated all of us hanging out together. We never used the 2nd floor TV area (which was large) or the lower living area (also large), but spent all our time either out hiking or enjoying the views from every area of the house. Two dishwashers and sinks meant cleanup was simple. Fantastic 3 nights. "

The views of the ocean and wildlife are beautiful and we loved spending time exploring the beach. It is tucked away in quiet Vesuvius but close to Ganges for any shopping you need to do. We would highly recommend it and would love to stay here again!"
