Front desk person was extremely nice and helpful. She definitely went above and beyond to help when I couldn’t figure out a light and locked my keys in the room. The person in charge of the breakfast was also very nice and cheerful which was especially appreciated in the mornings.

"I appreciated the friendliness of the front desk staff, but there were serious issues with consistency in their policies and charges. I specifically asked twice if I could take a quick shower before leaving South Padre Island, and both times I was told it would be possible for a $50 fee. However, when I returned from my event, they suddenly changed their stance and said I wouldn’t be able to do it. After some back and forth, the staff eventually allowed me to retrieve my belongings, but not within the agreed-upon timeframe. To make matters worse, we were locked out 15 minutes before the actual checkout time! Overall, a very frustrating experience—this place is not worth the hassle or hidden charges. I wouldn’t stay here again."

The pictures make this hotel really nice but once we arrived it looked nothing like the pictures. The carpet was dirty and old, there’s no elevator, we had a plug in our room that was melted, the floors were dirty and the repairs were not done professionally. I wouldn’t stay here again for the money we spent until major repairs were done.

The staff were super nice AND they have breakfast. The room was clean and had an updated modern layout. The bed sheets are very soft and the room had a big plasma TV. I enjoyed a very pleasant stay.
