This was our 3rd stay at the Sapphire and our second in a bungalow. We always go the 1st week in May - the weather is wonderful and we pretty much have the place to ourselves. For us, since we are a multigenerational family (ages 3 - 65) the bungalow's proximity to the pool is perfect. We are so close there is not the luging of equipment out in the hall...down the elevator...thru the lobby and finally the walk to the pool. You simply walk out your door and you are there!
There is also the added convenience of your own garage so unloading when you arrive and packing up to leave is super easy!!!
As for the condo it was very well stocked. We always take our own towels, wine glasses, and Styro cups. And since we are in someone else's home any cooking or Kitchen utensil that might not be standard.
WOW.... no need to worry about Kitchen stuff here!! Dishes....Dinner plates on the conservative count - 20. Large bowls, small bowls, sandwich plates. Glasses.... Red and White wine, Champagne flutes, coffee cups. Silverware, I think for 12 with serving pieces. Muffin pans, pizza pans, Pyrex casserole, mixing bowls, several nests of bowls, All sizes of cooking pots and pans. OMGosh and the small appliances.....of course a coffee maker (a mr coffee, not a Kerig type) a toaster, a toaster oven, a rice maker, a crock pot, a Vitamix, and a blender with a spout!!!! Every time we opened a cabinet we could not believe what we were seeing!!!! The children wanted to make chocolate chip cookies and of all things there was no mixer.... well there is a hand mixer now!!!
The only thing I found strange was the lack of regular glasses - but I suppose since that is what would go to the pool most folks bring their own solo or styro cups.
I have to say best equipped condo so far!!!
We had a blast....
oh..... and on Saturday and Thursday afternoons on the beach - Andy the Sandcastle guy gives free lessons to The Pearl and the Sapphire guests on the beach...........AWESOME!!!!!
Bungalow 106 was great.... thank you
