"Modern, spacious, and well equipped corner unit with ocean views on two sides. Two different beaches practically right out the door. Great for swimming and snorkeling. The host, Maria, was incredibly warm, responsive, and helpful--advising us on all the local spots. Looking forward to returning!"

"Our family of 4 has stayed at Makena Surf more than 20 times. This is one of the nicest units we have stayed in, and that is saying a lot! The view from the common area and lanai is spectacular. It would be hard to be any closer to the ocean. We saw a lot of whales during our Dec/Jan stay!The units at Makena Surf get progressively smaller as you go up - 1st floor units are spacious, 2nd floor are in-between, 3rd floor is smallest. Views from the 3rd floor are the best, though, so think about the tradeoff. Management of this unit was very professional and quick. We had a TV issue and it was resolved with style. Within a few hours of me texting the management company, a technician appeared with a replacement TV. "

"This is my 5th time vacationing in Maui. I have stayed at high-end hotels and luxurious condos in Kaanapali, Lāhainā, and Wailea — all but one of them had oceanfront rooms. Yet I had no idea how private and comfortable this home in Makena would be - the photos and details in the listing cannot describe the beauty and peacefulness of the location. I am definitely coming back."

"We enjoyed a week at this unit. Its a very nice condo that was clean and well stocked. The unit has a great view of the ocean and a peak view of the sunset. Its close walk to the beach or two pools. The pools were a little.cold while we were there. The one downside is the road noise in the morning. The unit is very close to the road"
