This was my first time in Tahoe and I had done a lot of research. I initially wanted lake front, but was having trouble finding something in my price range. I traveled with 4 other adult women for my 40th birthday. We loved this house because we enjoy each others company, however, if you are looking for privacy, it would be a little tricky. Upstairs is an A frame house (you're sleeping with your head close to the ceiling). There are 2 beds in the bedroom (1 full 1 queen perhaps?). One bed was VERY soft and we used it to hold luggage. The rest of the loft had 2 twin beds (I think these may have been kid beds though because feet were close to hanging off) and a queen bed which was very comfortable and cozy. The 1/2 bath upstairs had THE BEST AND LOUDEST FAN! Loved all the bear decor. There are ample windows and a swamp cooler which makes the best white noise. I had asked the company if there was a cooler in the house, and they said no, but we found 2 while we were there. The full bathroom is very cute and love the small touches in the shower, however, the water pressure was meh. The porch and big trees are lovely and it was so nice to sit outside in the morning with coffee. The location is great (a 5 minute walk to Heavenly Village). Scooters are prevalent and there is a great scooter/bike/walking path. You can park your scooter right outside this houses location. The TV is nice and we loved having the fire place when August got VERY chilly.
