South Eifel Rock Country

So, I first want to mention, this place was on the cheaper side, so my expectations weren’t extremely high. I appreciated the price. The bathroom smelled weird, refrigerator didn’t work, and the remote battery compartment broken. If you decide to stay here, just know, you’ll be getting what you pay for. If you are easily startled by homeless people, you shouldn’t stay here. All that being said, it wasn’t the nicest or cleanest, but I enjoyed my stay for what it was.

Really nice rooms with chic decor, comfortable beds. The rooftop bar is fun and the views from the terrace are awesome. Did not have breakfast at the hotel since it is very expensive. No coffee maker in the room. There is a grocery store around the corner. A great restaurant is in walking distance. Parking in their garage is expensive, but one can park in the streets surrounding the hotel. We walked everywhere, but interesting areas are a couple of miles or more away. It is conveniently close to the airport, but that also means that stating at 5am air traffic noise is very audible. The windows are well insulated though, so it‘s best to keep them closed in the morning. Planes are not allowed to land and start during the night there.
