"It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. "

"For an artist who wanted a comfortable place to work and relax, this place was heavenly. The lighting was exceptional, the heating was easy to adjust, the bed was super cushy, the bathroom even had heated flooring! The kitchen was very adequately supplied and everything worked. One small issue with the downstairs TV was addressed by the staff who were super friendly and kind I cannot wait to return!"

"Everything about the apartment was great. Clean & fully stocked. Location was PERFECT. Parking was not an issue bc it was the off season. Everything was in walking distance - shops, restaurants, bars. The only negative (but we survived) were the beds. Mattresses were way too soft. "
