The view from the 2nd floor space is reminiscent of a Finger Lakes winery overlooking Otisco Lake and surrounding rolling hills so typical of this area--So nice!!”

“EVERYTHING as described and more. Place was so clean you'd of thought we were the first guests. Hosts were very accessible via text during our stay. The construction of this tree house is amazing and detailed. The ability to sit at a fire even during rain was a plus and complete with barn owls calling in the distance at night. Minutes away from a small town with a great breakfast diner, but completely secluded in the woods. We just can't say enough about how cool this place is.”

We booked this property and then suddenly there was a maintenance issue. One message said it was electrical and another said ot was a water problem. But not to worry! The driveway down to the house is steep (as noted in the description)with switchbacks but once you’ve navigated it, it is not a problem. Great location - close to town.”

“Camp Shah was a fantastic getaway for our extended family. We had such a great time swimming, kayaking, sitting around the fire and playing cards on the screen porch. The only suggestions I have is that the 100lb weight limit on the bunk beds should definitely be listed, and also possibly an upgrade to the refrigerator. Other than that, the property was wonderful and the owners were super responsive, friendly and helpful. I'd rent it again.”

“My wife and I recently made the short trip from the Buffalo, NY area to the town of Skaneatles, which we have been to many times. However, this was the first time renting a house in the area as we wanted to bring our two dogs. We could not have been more pleased with this home and its location. Only about a two-three minute drive from the town of Skaneatles, it provided us with a "home away from hone" setting while still being able to conveniently go into town for dinner, drinks and shopping.……
