"If you are looking to reset, be present in nature and to relax on a peaceful property this is the place for you. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised how clean everything was. The beds and living room furniture were all super comfy! There were toiletries provided which was wonderful, allowing us to rest after a long drive and go to the grocery store the following day. There are clear instructions in a notebook with emergency contacts as well as local grocery stores ect listed. The sounds of the creek fill the house and the views from the living room, kitchen and dining area of the creek are spectacular. We felt safe at this property as well. Fire pit, grill, porch swings and patio furniture were all very well maintained and all in working condition . This location is perfect as it’s close to Bryson City (we loved this town), Sylva and the Smokey mountains. With all the fun things to do in the game room, darts, pool table and ping pong, explore the creek, fire pit, we truly would have been happy just relaxing and staying in. Many fun trails/hikes and areas to explore are close by. Our family will always cherish our time at this home and we definitely plan to book again. Our absolute favorite part, it snowed in March, and our kids saw snow for the first time. A big thank you to the owners for sharing their beautiful and tranquil home with our family! "

"The hosts have done a good job of making this unique property a vacation rental worth trying out. The pros: very clean, unique house with a cool vibe, pool table, 12' ceilings, nice furnishings. The cons: some parts of the house need repairs but didn't really affect our stay, there's not a great choice of kitchenware for cooking, there's not an on suite for either bedroom, parking is limited, and it's right in the middle of an older commercial area so noise from vehicles and trains can make it tough to sleep. "

"The place was very clean and close to nearby Bryson City. The only negative remarks are there is no toaster even though the listing says there is. Also, there is a TV but no internet and no satellite to use the TV. Thankfully we were able to use our hotspot. The walls are very thin, so you can hear everything from the other rooms. Bring extra blankets in the winter months. There is only sheets and a thin comforter on the beds. Hot showers though! Overall, I would rent again."
