"This is absolutely the best place to stay for a wonderful time at Lake Gaston. It is not just the very cleanest and well maintained place, the decor is soooo nice and the view from the balconies is amazing. "The house is lovely, spacious and the dock is absolutely wonderful. The home suited our grandparents plus 3 adult grown families and grandkids. The bunk room is so fun. Agree with other reviews about upgrading kitchen supplies to match the caliber of a luxury home but everything was still fine and usable. Water was about 4.5’ deep so use caution jumping off. Would stay again!!!"

"We had a fabulous stay. The property was exactly as listed. The little cove the house is located by was perfect for younger kids to safely play in the water right off the dock. They enjoyed the paddle board and kayak provided and the ladder off the dock was perfect for them to get out of the water. The available slip was a great addition for getting our boat put away when not in use. We will rent again in the future if available."

The yard provided us with some great shade during yard games and grilling; and access to the dock with the floating pad, paddle board, and kayaks made it fun for our kids and adults to enjoy! "We loved the house and the amenities it offered. It had everything we needed with plenty of space for the 6 of us. The parents stayed upstairs and the teens stayed downstairs. "Wake n Lake is a beautiful, spacious home on a peaceful lot with amazing views of the lake. The rooms are nicely decorated and comfy. The kitchen is very well stocked. There were 14 people in our group and there was only one refrigerator.
