"A lovely cozy cabin just perfect for relaxing. You can sit in front of the beautiful stone fireplace, hang out on the huge deck, or take a soak in the jetted tub. The kitchen is well stocked with spices, pot and pans, enough cutlery, dishes, mugs and glassware. "We really enjoyed our stay at the Irish Cottage Inn. Check in was a breeze, and the facility itself very cute to explore. Their afternoon tea offering was a nice addition to their outstanding breakfast. We had dinner at Frank O'Dowd's and enjoyed the décor and live music. The dinner and drinks were great, and it was nice to walk back to our room after a fun day in Galena. My only complaint is that the bed could use a mattress pad as they were not the best. However, the room was quiet, with very clean and new bathroom. A very short drive to downtown Galena. We will certainly consider a repeat stay! "
