With its shows and meals, the Showboat Branson Belle is a fun cruise experience on Table Rock Lake. Ride the paddlewheel riverboat on the picturesque lake, taking in stunning views of the surrounding Ozark Mountains and other rock formations, while enjoying live entertainment. Have a great lunch or dinner and watch the stage show.
The large riverboat has a classic showboat design, with two narrow towers at the front, red-and-white railings covering the sides and two large red paddlewheels at the back. Climb aboard and feel the wind in your face as the boat sets off.
Sit down for a three-course all-American meal at lunch or dinner, accompanied by a live stage show. The performance comprises aspects of comedy, music and magic suitable for audience members of all ages. After the show, chat with some of the performers and other guests.
Note that the lake is formed from the White River upstream of the Table Rock Dam. The boat, which has a capacity for 700 passengers, was first launched in 1994 from the port at White River Landing. The launch used biodegradable mashed bananas rather than synthetic lubricants for an efficient and environmentally friendly sendoff.
Book your tickets for the cruise, meal and show on the riverboat’s official website. The experience lasts about 2.5 hours. The boat generally operates year round, with events held at the port during extreme weather conditions.
Back on land, hike along the White River Valley Trail System. Enjoy views of the riverboat from this coastal path, before continuing along the Table Rock Lakeshore Trail and delving into the forest of Table Rock State Park.
The Showboat Branson Belle is on the western edge of Table Rock State Park, in the southwestern corner of Branson. It overlooks Table Rock Lake, less than a 20-minute drive southwest from the heart of Branson. While in the area, make sure to see some of the neighboring attractions, including the Shepherd of the Hills Fish Hatchery, State Park Marina and Moonshine Beach.
