"Room size was ok for 3, location is a short walk to Hakata Station. Breakfast was ok, ramen was good and sashimi was fresh. Toilets are clean and big. Decent fitness gym."

"Its a decent hotel although it is small as in most hotels in japan. Check in was smooth but the reception was clueless when asked about benefits as Gold member. Upon check out the staff insisted i return the room card key or chargeable if i dont. They should just inform guests upon check in to ensure room card key needs to be returns. The girl at the reception was unfriendly and unhelpful when told her the other card was misplaced by my husband. She insisted i pay but then immediately said next...

"In my humble opinion this is a 3 star hotel not 4. Don’t get me wrong, it’s clean & modern. Staff is friendly, but I noticed the walls in the room were dirty and scratched. Great centric location though. "

"The bath was really clean and nice. They have washer and dryer (2 of them for the whole hotel) but better than none. I’d like towel service in the bath area so you don’t have to bring your towels from your room since I forgot to bring them multiple times during my stay. The service was excellent they seemed like they can read our minds. "

"Very conveniently located next to Hakata Station. Tons of shopping and dining options nearby. There are only two elevators and it was very busy so many days it took awhile to get up and down. Overall, very happy with our stay."

"Hotel Oriental Express Fukuoka Tenjin is a 3-minute walk from Tenjin Station, so the location is really convenient and good. The staff is also very friendly, and since there are many Korean guests, there are staff who can speak Korean. The room size is small, but clean, and there is enough space to fully open the suitcase. The bathroom is also very clean. If I come to Fukuoka again, I would like to stay at this hotel again."
