We could shoo the dear children to the downstairs living airea where they could play and be noisy and access the outdoors just fine! There was one small step to access the main floor, kitchen, utility room, dining area, living room, and large deck - this was what we needed for the older members of our party. "Great amenities, well appointed, super comfortable. We didn't lack anything but firewood for the fire pit. ( Didn't find any for sale in town, but not a big deal. Next time we'll buy some in a neighboring town on the way in.) Fishing was fun, hiked at Mirror Lake, toured Blanchard Springs Cavern, and saw 2 bald eagles on the river. Highly recommend."

"We had our family Christmas weekend and it was great! The kids fished off the deck and had so much fun! The house was perfect for us! The staircase is very tiny and wasn’t easy going up and down for adults but we made it work! Kids loved it!! It was cozy and comfortable. Beautiful in this area! We can’t wait to come back in the spring. We did have garbage disposal and dishwasher issues but it didn’t hamper our stay! Overall it was fantastic and we will rent again!! "
