“traditional japanese hotel with japanese style room and shared bath pool. tiny but nice. very close to the main shopping streets of Nara and Nara train station (Kintetsu, not JR). easy to reach the most famous sightseeing spots of Nara too.”

“The staff were so friendly and welcoming! I was solo travelling and spoke very little Japanese and they were very accommodating! The breakfast was yummy with a beautiful view of the gardens, one of the ladies explained everything on the plate to me, which was helpful. “Far walk for us and dinner is exotic and different. But absolutely beautiful place. Clean and amazing private onsen. We loved the gift shop and they gave us robes to use. Breakfast buffet excellent. Overall wonderful visit, would recommend and wish i can go again someday. ”

“It’s a really wonderful experience of staying in Nara for one night. The position just next to the subway is convenient enough that we can meander around the city immediately after check in. The staff is friendly and hospitable , he led us to the room with hot match tea, and we got a tea souvenir the next day. The public outside onsen is also the highlight, we enjoy very much with Kasuaga hotel and hope we would visit again soon in the future!”

“We had a wonderful stay at Asahikan. The hosts were exceptional and made delicious and abundant meals for us, were super friendly and helpful, and gave us many suggestions on things to see and do in the area. We highly recommend Asahikan and definitely would return.”
