We didn't have the highest expectations because of the pictures, which are relatively accurate, but there were a few things that impacted our stay for the worse.
Before that, the few pros:
-The cabin is centrally located near the town with the market and restaurants.
-The kitchen is nice and big. Spices (minus salt and pepper) were provided in the kitchen although I'm not sure how old they were. The fridge/freezer is relatively new and very clean.
-The house was clean on arrival, and a few laundry pods were provided. The washer/dryer unit is very old but works.
-The bed is comfy and the sheets are comfortable, which did surprise us given what we saw from the rest of the house. The bedroom is pretty small but worked in our favor because it was the only room in the house that was warm enough for us to be comfortable in.
-The bathroom is small but clean, and amenities were provided and a good amount of towels.
The cons:
-The house was very cold. We were told not to adjust the thermostat, so we didn't. We traveled here end of March/beginning of April, so it wasn't the beginning of winter. Old-school electric heaters are provided but unless you're literally sitting right next to it you can't feel it, and they're not strong enough to warm up an entire room. If the thermostat can't be adjusted and electric heaters need to be provided, they should at least be stronger and newer ones. Also, only two throw blankets were in the house - one normal sized and one very small like a baby blanket.
-Many of the lights didn't work, so the cabin was very dimly lit especially at night. There's a decent amount of natural light from the windows during the day, but because of proximity to the neighbors you don't get a lot of privacy if you lift up the blinds. We just opened the slats. There were a lot of of light switches that didn't seem to turn on anything, and you could see a lot of the lights in the ceiling weren't working.
-The hot water didn't work. We stayed for two nights; the first night and morning the hot water was working although it took a while to warm up. When we returned to the cabin in the evening of our second night, the hot water wasn't working. We had no idea why since with the two of us we barely used any the day before. Given that we were leaving the cabin early the next morning, we just dealt with the problem, but this was a major issue compounded with how cold the cabin already was.
TL;DR: lights, heating, & water need to be fixed.
