Great place/location. Clean with functional layout. Couple of minor issues like rear doorknob broken and thermostat glitchy.

Clean, convenient location, cozy. Easy to get to with 4x4 in snow. Convenient parking. Large kitchen and living space. Will definitely rent this cabin again.
There is no clothes washer, but there is a dry. Clothes washer not needed, but shown in the listing and wasn't there when we stayed.

Good evening,A few issues I wanted to list about my vacation rental this weekend:The thermostat was out of battery when we arrived and the house was 38F inside after driving 4 hours through a winter storm. I replaced the batteries and four hours later the house warmed up to 65F. They still have not cleared the driveway of the approximately 12" of snow that remains from the storm. The initial 40" was cleared when we arrived. There was no shampoo or soap in the shower. There are missing lightbulbs throughout the house and a faulty stove top light that flickers on and off. There is also no grease trap for the stove top.I understand this is a budget rental but there is a certain level of accountability that should be taken to rectify these issues in a timely manner. I notified vacasa via text with each issue at the time they were discovered and was informed that it would be taken care of. We are now on night 3 without any resolution of any issue mentioned above. Which leads me to request a substantial credit if not in a complete total refund for my stay here this weekend.

upon arriving, we couldn't get into the driveway as one of the maintenance workers had parked there and, after calling and contacting someone on the property, they contacted to him and we still had to wait 30-45minutes for someone to move the vehicle before we could pull in and unload to begin out stay. The rest of the weekend went well until Saturday when we were infested by ants in the kitchen, little gnats throughout the morning and afternoon and a few other insect invaders inside the cottage. Everything else was perfect as we did appreciate the opportunity to get away, do a little fishing and just relax without the weekly busyness and disruptions. Thanks for having this available.

An old rustic cabin remodeled. Convenient to Shaver lake and hiking trails. Very well equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed in a small bedroom. Tiny shower which was hard to get in and out of-the door sticks.
House is dark inside. One entire wall is a very old fireplace and the whole house smells of wood smoke although I don't think there had been a fire in it for a long time since it was hot outside and no evidence of wood anywhere. Our clothes smelled of wood smoke until we could wash them when we got home.

Chimney blew smoke out through the entire house. I sat in the freezing cold with my seven year old for two hours while we aired it out and waited for someone to assist us. Nobody responded to fix the problem that night. This was not a good time.

Overall a great stay. there were a couple things that are a problem.
Fireplace may need to have the flue cleaned it does not draft and we had smoke filling the house.
Electrical outlets need to be replaced as they will not hold in the plugs. Many outlets in the cabin had been taped over due to this problem I assume. They have been this way since the first time we rented this unit last year.
Washer being broken was a disappointment, but things happen.
need to secure the shower drain to the basin before someone slips or breaks a toe in the drain.
would also be great if the shower had a hand held wand.

It was great! Very serene and relaxing. The other reviews about the shower being small are accurate but it gets really hot and has good water pressure so I’m not upset about a structural issue. Big kitchen, big living room, lots of seating options! Small suggestion though—it might be good to replace the coverlet on the bed. I didn’t use it because it looked worn but there were enough blankets without it. The kitchen does have most equipment to get you cooking but I would also recommend bringing your own pantry staples (salt, pepper, sugar, spices, etc). It is advertised as having them and they do but it’s tough to determine how old the spices are and they were out of salt and pepper—not a big deal but it was something I made a mental note to bring with me next time. Overall a great experience—we walked into town for a couple of forgotten items and lunch.

Cabin has a tiny bedroom and bathroom but huge kitchen and large living room. Certainly nothing special but nothing wrong with it. Location is right off the main road but no traffic sounds were heard. It's convenient if you plan to be out and just need a place to stay at night.

The smoke smell in the cabin is quite overwhelming. We were there Thursday through Sunday and it never got better (we did not use the fireplace). If you have upper respiratory sensitivity (or eye sensitivity) this is not the place for you. Also, the washer was marked out of service - another reviewer had this same comment in March 2022....?? Loose plugs have not been repaired (had to hunt to find ones that the plug wouldn't fall out of). The table lamp still not operable (prior reviewer comment March 2022). Overall we liked the space but would expect better follow up/fixes on issues that have been raised in comments.

It was clean, the floors were clean, plenty of cookware and utensils. I didn't need to bring as much as last year. The BBQ was clean. I'm very satisfied. We will return for our third time next year same time.
Thank you. I'm a retired professional house detailer for 40 years and I was happy with the cottage.

House was as described, everything perfect. Only issue is washer still not working and noticed a review from May stating the same. Didn’t need but if staying longer would be nice to have in working condition.

The spaciousness was great. The bed was so comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to fix anything. The restroom is a little small and me being 5 foot 1 could only see the top of my head in the mirror. I had to laugh.

Cute, comfortable, nicely decorated cabin. The kitchen is large and well stocked. The living room is a good size & very comfortable. There is plenty of storage, which is nice, and the bed is very comfortable.

This is a "rustic" accommodation. It was as advertised and served our purposes, as we just needed a place to get away to. Even though the highway is in view, it was still quiet and peaceful. Took advantage of the grill on the porch. Just a few glitches...there was no creamer or sugar for coffee, and no ice in the freezer. However, the store is close by, so we worked around it.
