"Everything from check in to check out was excellent. The hotel is in a business area, so there isn’t much around it. There is a fee for parking, but it is in and out privileges. The self serve laundry was the only down side. It took several hours to dry one load of wash. The front desk receptionist was most helpful in all our requests and needs. I highly recommend this hotel for your visit to Nantes."

"The hotel staff was amazingly helpful and kind. Our room was an "outside" room meaning it was not within the perimeter of the main hotel. Bed was very comfortable. On street parking availability was very challenging. To access the pool you have to pay an additional 20 euro per person which was a bit of a surprise."

"We arrived after the front desk was closed - not knowing that we would be unable to get in as no one contacted us with the entry code. Luckily we were able to call and speak with someone who gave use directions on getting the key for our room. The room was fine at a glance but did have some problems. The handle of the faucet in the shower was broken, and the shower head wouldn't stay in place, meaning we had to use the showered as a handheld piece. We also didn't have any lights in the upstairs...

"Rather basic, but spotlessly clean with comfortable beds. No hair dryer and only one small bar of soap for three people. No paper towels. Mugs were too small for a normal cup of coffee. Having said all that, I'd happily stay here again. "

"Nice no frills hôtel. Nice Little kitchenette, warm shower, large bed. Simple but good breakfast. The coffee machine is probably the we got so far on this trip. Hotel has no parking but there is nearby parkade at 22 Euro per day and complicated to access either by car or on foot."

"Hotel du Monde staff were very helpful on arrival. Our apartment was a 5min walk from the centre,so there was easy access to places for eating. Our apartment was in a beautiful old building and it was stunning to walk into.We had an equipped small kitchen, small living space with a terrace. The bedroom boasted a beautiful 4 poster bed with tv and a roomy en suite with a power shower. Toiletries were complimentary and smelt delicious! We returned to the main hotel the next morning for breakfast. The breakfast room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Staff were very friendly as they explained the breakfast food,which was the most varied and delicious spread ive seen in a hotel. There was a vast choice of cereals,yogurts ,breads,pastries or cooked food ,and teas,coffees and juices. Everything was just perfect. We only had one night in Nantes but we would love to return to see more of this beautiful city and of course,stay longer in Hotel du Monde. 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟"
