"Loved the property, enjoyed the time we stayed there. Love the old and rustic vibe of the place. Suggestion, love the place, but a little more maintenance and cleanliness would be a charm to the place. Overall great place. There was no wifi during our trip which was a bummer since there is literally no network. So if wifi also doesn’t work you are literally in the middle of the woods with no connection to outside world. "

The closest propane is 25 miles away. 2. There are no smoke detectors in the unit. "Decided to base our visits to Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks from the fantastically located and charming property. Best decision ever. The cabin is extremely clean, well appointed and comfortable - and the bit of quirkiness adds to a great experience (although the shower is indeed narrow! There is no hallway to the 2nd bedroom so its either an outside exit or a walk through of the other bedroom). The internet was fast and reliable. The driveway to the cabin is demarked by a small sign...

The cabin has all the modern amenities pictured and promised, but also maintains a very cozy and down-to-earth feel. "There was a nice view outside the window, the receptionist at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. At the office, they provide dining options within 10 minutes of the property, which was very helpful considering the lack of service in the area. I would recommend bringing inside slippers, the carpet area in the top floor felt like it wasn’t frequently vacuumed."

Deceiving nice place

"Saw the photos and thought it seemed like a nice little overnight stay for a day trip to Sequoia National Park, after our evening at the Fresno PBR event. We decided to go to the cabin prior to the event. The drive to Fresno was a little long. So was not ideal for that leg of our trip. The cabin itself was great; rustic and comfy. Decorated/furnished nicely and honestly looked better in person than in the photos. I recommend the host updates the photos for that reason. The shower is a little wonky but it’s a 100 year old cabin, at least there was a shower! The water took a little while to turn warm, middle of march cold temps - expected but a little longer than actually expected. There is a lodge/bar literally right across the street with good burgers and fries, local beer, sassy but funny lady serving. The drive to Sequoia National Park was windy but not too long, probably 30 ish minutes - we had a lot of mist. Overall a good location for SNP with very rustic but comfy character. Would absolutely stay again. "
