Amazing stay
The location was phenomenal. The house had lots of windows which afforded lake views from most rooms. Super comfy beds and plush towels. The boat house was amazing with plenty of seating and plenty of floats. The water off the dock was deep. Had a blast and we would stay here again. Only small con was the internet was a little slow. The host was super responsive!

Great little getaway spot.
Overall, a very nice property. The outdoor spaces are fabulous, especially the upper dock for morning coffee (and a surprise view of cows grazing on shoreline across the lake one morning) and lower dock for swimming and reading in the shade on a hot day. The house has very attractive and comfortable furniture and the is well appointed with kitchenware and basic supplies. Lots of light and nice views. The bunk room was surprisingly small without any airflow, and our teens did not fit in the beds, so not ideal for sleeping well. And the A/C struggled to keep the house cool - even at night. But owners were easy to communicate with and the house is very nice, in good repair and we had a good time checking out Hyco Lake!

Peaceful serenity
Beautiful place! The lake is awesome and the house was fully stocked. The views and the scenery were amazing and so was the style of the house. We saw a lot of wildlife too and fully enjoyed the use of the canoe and noodles/tubes. This was such a relaxing trip - it felt more like a retreat than anything. Thanks again and we hope to be back again soon! Laura was such a pleasure to work with.

Relaxing Gettaway on Hyco
A beautiful retreat on the northern side of Hyco Lake. This house is tucked back in a quiet cove. The outdoor living spaces are amazing. There are multiple layers of lifestyle living to suite your small or larger group. The back side of the home has large deck that spans the length of the home. Each bedroom has a sliding door to the deck. If you want to enjoy a fire on a cooler evening, sit back around the firepit. The boat dock might just be one of the best on the lake. In addition to spacious first floor deck area next to the boat ramps, there is a giant second floor deck that spans the entire footprint of the dock. The furniture is high quality and comfortable. There are too many Adirondack chairs to count! Comfy outdoor couches on the upper deck. The host also provides a canoe. A variety of water floats are abundant. So much fun for your crew and everyone will find a place to be together or alone, whatever your preference.
