「We had a wonderful trip at this cottage. The view was amazing. The steps going up and down to the house were a bit of a challenge due to knee problems for both my husband and myself. Loved having the balcony with a gate for our dog to lay outside. Love seeing the deer come around. Will be back soon. Loved our stay there. Lots of pet friendly restaurants close by. Thank you Sandra and Jose.」

「This place was Great. It was very clean and had all we needed to feel at home. The walk to the river was beautiful, I wish it was summer but nevertheless it was so very nice. Restaurants and downtown shopping are a rock throw away and a must to visit Gruene Historical District. We had a fabulous time, thank you Romantic Casita for hosting us. 「Nicely renovated home with plenty of space. Good instructions and fairly easy to get to. The neighborhood was quiet, however, it didn't appear to be in the best of neighborhoods. Overall, it worked for our purpose. 」

「Delightful little cottage - just perfect for the two of us. We followed the hosts recommendations on places to eat and had some great meals! One evening we sat on the porch swing and just enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. Great place for a romantic getaway! Easy access to the Gruene and New Braunfels for food, music and shopping. Exceptionally well-maintained property - highly recommend.」

「Our family booked in order to attend our airman's graduation from basic training. It was so nice for when he had his off base passes that we could do it in a family type atmosphere rather than a hotel room. It made our family time that much more special. The house was clean neat and everything was just wonderful.」

「The house is really cute and cozy」

「We had a wonderful stay! The location was great and it was only a short drive to restaurants and Gruene. We spent a day in Gruene Tx enjoying all the shops, the fabulous food at the Grustmill Restaurant and listening to live music at Gruene Hall. The house was very clean and perfect for the four of us. We enjoyed playing cornhole in the backyard facing the beautiful river. I would definitely stay here again. John was a great host and quickly responded to any questions we had. size for...

「We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the property. The proximity to the river is great. The area was peaceful in the evening. Easy walk to downtown restaurants and shops. Easy drive to Gruen and all the great shops and restaurants there. Will definitely stay here again if we come back that way. 」

"The breakfast and front desk are good ，but the room cleaning was terrible, on the first day the bed sheets were very wrinkled and didn't seem to have been changed, there were 5 of us but the toilet only had half a roll of toilet paper. The next day when we returned to the room I found that the toilet bowl still had obvious urine in it that had not been cleaned."
