We only stayed for a short time, but it was a pleasant stay. The location was super clean, modern, stocked with what they claimed, and comfortable. There were instructions/notes everywhere informing you how to operate the doors/blinds/kitchen components, etc...
Here are the 'things to know' about the listing:
1) The doors (minus the front door) are a bit difficult to open/lock. You have to hold the handle in an unnatural position to get it locked/unlocked.
2) A 10-minute walk to 89A is a bit of a stretch. Let's say at least a 15-minute hike to 89A. No sidewalks and quite hilly.
3) The location to the Javalina trailhead was super convenient. It was maybe 3 minutes and you're on a non-popular trailhead, which is nice. We hiked to Devil's Kitchen and the Seven Sacred Pools. Probably an hour to an hour and 1/2 one way. The trails are heavily used by bikers.
4) I got the impression, from the listing, that there would be less houses, more 'views'. If you looked in between the houses, you saw a view or two. Don't get me wrong, it's a wonderful location. I just thought there would be more views and less houses based on 'jaw dropping views'.
Overall, and as mentioned, we enjoyed our stay. I'd probably pick a different location next time, so I have more of a secluded feel but that's personal preference.
