I usually love staying at an Embassy Suites, but this time wasn’t great. Mostly the issues were in the bathroom. The door was loud and clunky, hard to close and impossible to do quietly. In the shower was a shelf that was falling off the wall and the shower door water deflector was almost completely off the door. The shampoo and body wash in the shower were also empty. On the positive side, the breakfast was good and the evening reception was decent. I will probably stay here again, but will likely make sure to go with an upgraded room. The standard room was a disappointment and falling apart.

Loved the place, room, and the pool/hot tub.. The room with the view of the downtown was fantastic. Thank you, the manager who was able to upgraded the room for 60th special surprise birthday!!!!

Disappointed that the jacuzzi was lukewarm and we had to call twice to ask if maintenance could come check it out. After 45 min, we just went back to our room. The primary reason we booked with Embassy was for the pool and jacuzzi. Also, we could feel the metal springs in the sofa bed and no blanket was provided for it. We did have to ask for extra pillows and a blanket for the sofa bed and they were delivered to our room fairly quickly. Finally, we weren’t aware that we would have to pay an extra $60 for over night parking in the parking garage. Our other option was to park on the street where there was no parking when we arrived Sunday at 5:30PM. Unfortunately it wasn’t the stay I imagined for my family as it was my kids’ first time in the city. Positives were overall cleanliness is the common areas and room and nice front desk staff.

Hotel is beautiful however we like to explore the area we are staying in. Unfortunately there were a lot of homeless and mentally ill folks in the road and surrounding areas which made evening walking and driving in the area uncomfortable snd at times unsafe. It is the reality of the world that we live in at times but for the amount it cost to stay we assumed it was in a relatively safe and family friendly area.
