We’ll Be Back
The property exceeded our expectations. We’d love to stay here again. The lake was so peaceful, the house was great, and the location gives you access to everything within minutes. We didn’t want to leave. The property manager was responsive and helpful throughout the process. I hope we get to go back soon!

Weeklong family stay
Stayed here with parents and kids for some family time in July. The house interior is beautifully designed and decorated, very comfortable, and fully stocked inside. The outside is a different story. The grounds are just a lawn to the lake and a dock. The listing isn't forthcoming that THE DOCK ISN'T PRIVATE, it's shared with at least one other neighboring house, despite what you might think from all the "no trespassing" signs posted outside. Getting out of the lake if swimming is a bit of a quest because the ladder going into the lake is too short -- either walk through thick brush, or climb a diagonal beam to get back on the dock. And then there's the geese. Geese live on the lake and come to graze and leave the lawn (and dock and sometimes porch) covered in droppings. We spent much quality time chasing geese and picking up their poop. The host had arranged for the dock and porch to be cleaned before our arrival, but it all came back when the geese came back. The host is responsive and wants to help but is somewhat disorganized: it's always "let me consult with the team" and then sometimes a quick answer but sometimes no answer for a couple of days. The neighborhood is very walkable. If you stay for the 4th of July, the fireworks on the lake are insane! Also, the host provides sit-on-top plastic kayaks and an inflatable boat for lake use, which is really fun. All in all, we enjoyed our stay! But I feel the place is overpriced given the outside grounds situation.
