"House was extremely well equipped, hot tub was in excellent working order. Great views from the patio and very close to coastal hiking trails. Saw lots of wildlife (deer, turkeys, gray fox) and marine life (whales and sea lions), and really enjoyed the deer and turkeys in our front yard every morning. The only negative was window screens that were non-existent or in need of repair, overall it was a great experience and would recommend."

"The place is very nice, has multiple nice living areas and places to hang out. Downstairs has two queen bedrooms one with an en suite bathroom. The upstairs bedroom has a pair of twin beds and just outside the upstairs bedroom a loft area with a large couch. The upstairs area is better suited to kids. The beds upstairs are uncomfortable and we ended up sleeping on the couch. They are older mattresses on a flat wood platform. I would recommend changing out the mattresses and adding a box...

"We have been coming to sea ranch for over 20 years and this is our first time staying by the golf course. The layout of the home was nice with bedrooms separate. The view was beautiful! The owner was very prompt in answering our questions. The only issue we had was that the 3 sliding doors did not have screens. If we left the doors open we had flys. Plus it was a warm week. I go to sea ranch for the cool breeze and the ocean sounds so not being able to leave the doors open was a negative for me....

"We had a lovely stay at the Tallgrass Modern home in Sea Ranch. The home was beautifully decorated and very comfortable for our group of 5. The location was a 10 minute walk to the bluff trail, a short 5 min drive into Gualala and right on hole 16 of the Sea Ranch Golf Links (which our group played one day). I can’t forget to mention the ocean views as well! We look forward to coming back again!"

"House work out good for this trip. House cleaners did a good job cleaning but the house is older and needs a good detail clean. Ocean front view could only be better if windows were washed. "We were visited daily by deer: a buck, doe and several young ones. The ocean glimmers, the stars come out at night, and you can snuggle in front of the lovely fireplace. The location gives you easy access to Gualala and the Sea Ranch Lodge. Be sure to read the Independent Coast Observer newspaper and listen to KGUA radio 88.3 FM to find out about all the local events. Pipers Reach is clean and comfortable.
