“This property is in an excellent location opposite the harbour with amazing views. The room was a good size and warm considering the freezing weather. It seemed to be recently decorated with a modern bathroom. Lots of wardrobe space and a king size bed. However, there were some issues in the room including a very scaly kettle, only 2 teabags, 1 shower gel, no glasses, no bathmat, flat batteries in tv remote, and only half a loo roll. As there were no staff on site for most of the time these……

“Really comfy place. Room was spot on. When the gentleman showed me the room. He noticed a mark on the duvet. (It was nothing really). It looked like they’d maybe rested the vacuum on the bed & it had left a bit of dirt. The gentleman changed the duvet cover there & then. I ordered my breakfast & unfortunately I slept in. When I left I apologised & they couldn’t have been nicer about it. Spot on place , would stay again.”

“I'd read the previous reviews before booking here so this is an up-to-date review now for everyone! 1. Over a few days, I found out from random people that the area DID have a dodgy reputation so possibly the previous reviews are fair. But locals told me that the council have made a big effort to sort this out. I'm a middle-aged woman staying ON MY OWN and I saw zero of any concern. 2. “Really nice hotel. The staff member i met was helpful. I had a small single room which had everything i needed for my short stay. It was clean and looked well maintained. I didn't have any meals there but the dining rooms looked clean and well decorated. I would stay again.”
