"Nicely job on updating the hotel, but also maintaining the feel of old school vibe. We love the bathroom, and appreciate that the original design is intact. My only piece of advice is to bring an eye pillow, there is a lot of light pollution seeping in and th curtains don’t quite filter it out. But we still slept well, the bed and pillows are super comfortable. "

"The check in was super easy, we were greated by the hosted as it was some bad weather when we arrived. She was very friendly and made sure we were ok! She kept to herself in her house above the little apartment. The apartment was amazingly stocked so we didnt have to bring anything but ourselves, clothes, and our food to cook. There was no sauna like listed (we didnt care about that). Us and the kids really the hot tub while it snowed just a little bit! KIDS FAVORITE PART! Would definitely consider going again. Perfect place to see some sites."

"This was what I had hoped for...a respite. The cottage was nice, the freighters magnificent, and I was rejuvinated. It was over new year's and doing puzzles and watching out the window was just what I needed. Great for my small dogs and sister.m.m."
