Had a wonderful time with my college friend and her family. There was plenty to do with pool and little pond for fishing, we enjoyed local hiking with our families and had wonderful meals all together. Thank you again!!

We loved the pool especially - entertaining for the entire family ranging from age 7 months to 72 years. A beautiful blue heron flew overhead often enjoying the adjacent small pond. The house included most all of what we needed though the first floor bedroom was much too small for anything but the bed.

We had a lovely stay for our family of 5 during the week before xmas. The home was well appointed, with all the normal needs we have to cook, etc... The house was very quiet despite 5 of us being there. Everyone had their own space. Very cozy. Loved that there were games to play, we had a great family round of monopoly!The property manager was so responsive. We felt very supported and attended to. Despite the cold weather the house stayed plenty warm as well!We highly recommend this home and would love to return if our plans take us back to the Hudson Valley!

My husband and I had a great stay at this charming house. The place was extremely clean, and the bedding and towels were so soft and comfy! I will say that the road it was on was a bit busier than we expected so if you are looking for somewhere truly secluded this might not be a perfect fit. But we had a great time and really appreciated some of the thoughtful touches (a basket of older towels we could use with our dog, for example). Those are extremely minor things, though and we had a lovely stay.

Place is really nice however upstairs bathroom is really difficult to use as a shower. 7 of us in the house and most of us used the bathroom downstairs since upstairs is claw tub with handheld shower without anywhere to hang while showering. . Rooms look bigger in listing then they are. We were also visited by a family of bears one night .. mom and 3 cubs. We enjoyed our stay

We had a great stay at this house. The pool was a good size with a deep end. It was really nice to have a pond behind the house. There were several comfortable beds but the trundle was very uncomfortable. The multiple decks were nice. The shampoo and conditioner provided were very nice. Kitchen was lovely and spacious. The house had a little more wear and tear than was evident from the pictures. There was no hammock but there is a picture of one in the listing. The immediate area wasn’t very walkable. But we very much enjoyed the house and pool, decks and yard and short drives to Woodstock and Saugerties.

Beautiful home! Our multigenerational family truly enjoyed this property, especially the pool. Host were extremely responsive and helpful when needed. House was clean and space was great for our group. Two areas of improvements: The front door to house did not have a screen which allowed bugs and mosquitoes to easily enter. We had to purchase bug repellent candles to help. Also pool area is great but sooo many bees. And the feet of the pool is not labeled so be careful. The deeper end is very deep and there is no indication. Thank god we are swimmers but this was a concern for with young children. Other wise! Great stay!

Everything was great! The house is beautiful and the property was picturesque. Perfect place to stay for fall. The only fault was the steep driveway into a busy road. Near enough to shops and stores and the thruway. Loved our time here!

This house, location and property were everything I wanted it to be. The pool was the star of the show during the day and then the pond and forest came alive at night. Fireflies, frogs and peepers created a Dreamscape in which to make a small fire and sit in the Adirondack chairs and sip a nice wine. The AvantStay team was attentive and thoughtful the entire trip. The house is lovely. Especially the bedrooms. The beds are memory foam and so comfortable. Each room has air conditioning, extra bedding and there are even a few fold out futons for an extra bed mattress in the larger rooms. The place is older and some items like upholstery pieces and rugs have seen better days, but if you are a country loving person, those details fall away with the other charms of the place. I highly recommend this spot and would rent again.
