Amazing property perfect for a family vacation.

Everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. The home is ideal for extended families, offering plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. We stayed during Thanksgiving week, and it was amazing.The heated pool and immaculate grounds made for a relaxing and fun trip. The location is fantastic—just 5 minutes to Publix and 14 minutes to Siesta Key Village.I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this property!

Great setup for families

Clean, comfortable, inviting. Loved the pool! Just wish we were in walking distance to a nice breakfast & dinner place, but it was a short drive. Booked this location because it was close to the wedding venue we were in town for. Would definitely stay again

great place close to down town

I was in town with some friends for an event and this two cottage set up was perfect for a group. We all got to hang together but there was a separation when we wanted. The house was clean and had everything we needed. John and Christina the hosts were super responsive and helpful. I would definitely book here again.

Excellent place to stay

We had 11 people and a dog staying for 5 days. There was plenty of room for everyone especially with the addition of the In-law suite with full kitchen. The place was very clean, pool was amazing and the location was perfect. Quick drive to sarasota, long boat key and siesta key. Plenty of beach amenities to use. Definitely would stay here again.

Perfect for Sarasota Golf Weekend

Property and Manager were great. Right in the heart of Sarasota. Less than 10 miles to many golf courses and hundreds of restaurants. Perfect for a long weekend with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths! Definitely recommend!

Tremendous property

We stayed here for Thanksgiving week 2023 and had a wonderful time. The property is perfect, with a large yard and beautiful pool in the back. Chrissy the host was very helpful and answered our questions quickly. We will definitely be back!

Too bad we had to leave because of the hurricane, but the hosts were so kind to give us credit for the days we had to evacuate!. The pool was fantastic! hope the hurricane didn't affect the home!

Fantastic stay!

We rented both cottages, which was perfect for our family of eight adults. We had plenty of room to gather inside and out, but also could enjoy private spaces if we needed to. The home is super clean and everything is well maintained. The beautiful pool area was a family favorite, particularly in the evening. There was also plenty of space for parking three large vehicles. Check-in was seamless and communication was excellent throughout.

Great property!!

I can’t say enough great things about this property! Everything was so clean and was stocked with everything we needed. The beach gear was great. It was nice to have the pool right outside to hang out. My teens loved it! Lots of things are close by and just 10-15 minutes from beaches. I had to get a hold of the owner and he responded quickly! Would highly recommend staying here!

Great Place

Great house with everything described in the listing plus more. Communication with property owner was outstanding. We had 10 adults and a 1 1/2 year old and it was big enough for everyone. We know the area well because my parents live there. We needed to rent a house for this stay with so many coming to visit at the same time. Easy to get to the beach and loved the pool.

Cozy cottages

The owners are wonderful…prompt in their responses, excellent in their communication! The location is perfect to walk to Publix and even downtown Sarasota (approx. 2 miles), and yet just know it’s on a main road and with a sewer lid and road patchwork out front there is some rumbling from traffic. We were in town for a family wedding, these cottages were perfect for our large group to have some separation when needed. The heated pool and seating area were relaxing.

Amazing Vacation Spot!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Chrissy’s Cottage. The rental was exactly as described, and the hosts were attentive and responded very quickly when we contacted them. It is clear that they want their guests to enjoy their stay. We had 5 adults and 2 children and we could have fit more people comfortably! The pool is great for kids and adults. Location is on a busy street but you wouldn’t notice when you are inside or in the backyard. Close to the beach and lots of restaurants. Would recommend this property to anyone going to Sarasota!

Lots of space, loads of fun

We just returned from a wonderful weekend in Sarasota celebrating my Dad’s 90th birthday. Friends and family flew in from across the country and John and Chrissy’s place was perfect for our two families. Cottage #1 gave our young adults privacy and the three bedrooms in Cottage #2 gave us plenty of room for everyone else. Loved having a full kitchen so thoughtfully stocked and the beautiful pool gave us a place for everyone to hang out together and decompress after all the activities. The property was spotless, easy to find and was a great home for the weekend. Thank you!!

Good location, warm pool and dog friendly

We stayed a month. Pros - Warm pool. Good pool guy who kept it as clean as possible. Dog friendly. Well enough equipped kitchen to cook most nights. Comfortable beds. John and Chrissy were very quick to respond to the 3 maintenance issues we had. Nice TV and washer/dryer. Plenty of room for a family, though we didn't use most of the rooms. New towels. Outdoor space is ample with 2 tables. Cons: On a very busy street, no sidewalk on the house side. House is old so bathrooms are tired, as is kitchen. Could use some TLC. The patio and the furniture need a good power washing. The smaller cottage has steps in weird places. Needed to put all of the night lights there to keep it safe for a guest. But they had the night lights so that was a plus.

Great for groups!

We stayed here while on vacation celebrating my mother-in-law's 50th birthday and had a blast! Space: There were 8 of us (3 couples + 2 young adults). We had the perfect amount of space without feeling too crammed. It was also nice that there was a separate cottage attached if anyone were to need their own space. Cleanliness: Everything was clean, including the pool and showers. I usually get grossed out showering in places other than my own, but I was not. Host: Very good with communication and can tell they care about their guests. Location: It is about a 15 minute drive from both Lido Beach and Siesta Beach. They provided a list of recommended restaurants, we tried a couple of them and they were amazing! Other: We had all of the items that we needed - kitchen utensils, shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc. We did stop before we got there for more paper towels and toilet paper since we had such a large group and were there for 6 nights. Overall, I would highly recommend this, especially for groups or couples vacationing together!

Florida vacation

Overall this was a really great place. The first morning, we were woke up by jackhammering outside in which I let the owners know. Unbeknownst to them, this was unplanned construction. The smaller cottage didn't have much in terms of supplies, but we rented both sides which made it okay. We loved the pool, my kids lived in it when we were not at the beach. Great location to the beach, entertainment and dining.
