"Great value in an expensive city (Santa Monica). I like that they have security cameras all over the place. Free basic breakfast was a welcome thing. My only complaint is that the Internet speed would grind to a halt during peak hours. This may have been to unexpected demand due to the Palisades fire. By the later 2 days of my stay, they seemed to have worked out the problem. "

"Overall I was very comfortable. The lack if bell services was hard for me as I am an older person and had several bags. Thankfully a couple of other guests lent a hand. Also there were many homeless folks next to the hotel. They didn’t bither me at all and my heart goes out to them. It just mase me anxious to walk my dog there. "
