Hotels in San Cristobal Province

"The place is spectacular for the price. There are better hotels in the Colonial Zone but they cost twice as much. This place is a gem thats super affordable. Located in a couple hundred year old building, there is a giant mango tree that dropped mangos daily. We ate 4 or 5 a day. No pool is the downside. Breakfast is free but super super basic. Well worth the price. "

"The 5 stars to this property is definitively to the staff and the Boutique style of the property. We had a problem passing our card in Hotel Gran Europa and their staff never worried about us at all.. I had to walk with my bagage towards Mosquito Hotel, the card didn't pass due to an error with the company that process the paymens "Azul" but the Mosquito staff walked us to our room, let us check other options and we ended up paying with no problem after the link issue was solved. The staff really cared about us and offered us a way to solve the issue. Big thanks to the staff, and their constant follow up on our stay, for telling us where to go and helping us all the way until the last day of our stay. I will come back just because of them. This place should be on the TOP 5 for Santo Domingo."
