“Just a beautiful spot! Stayed for 2 weeks and the staff is so attentive, the breakfast and coffee every day delicious. And the sparkling pool across from the ocean—-if you want tranquility this is the spot. A bit down away from the main part of Samara beach which was so desired for its peace. Got the AC room to be able to sleep at night, not used to the heat of Costa rica. The best restaurant right next door. Just lovely owners, very well kept with its beautiful gardens.”

“The property was beautiful, the location is handy, and the staff were friendly. Parking is limited. The jacuzzi was not working properly, the traffic noise is loud, and breakfast was not included.”

“We really enjoyed staying here. After booking primarily at traditional hotels through Costa Rica during our vacation, we thought it would be cool to try something different. Estrellas is more of a small boutique BnB with amazing views, deep in the Samara hills. Be prepared, I highly advise having a 4x4, we made the mistake of booking a sedan on our trip and deeply regretted it. Driving up to this lodge is a tad tricky, but would have been so much easier with a better vehicle. Nathan was great……

“We had a wonderful time at the property. We traveled with two families, each family had a three year-old and a five month old baby. The property was perfect for us. We had so much fun playing in the pool with the toddlers, and there were all of the accommodations that we needed to feel comfortable and safe with the babies.
