"It was easy to do self check-in and clean with great view. It was the best chimoice. However there was no one for reception so we cannot ask simple cattle and hot water. Also there was parking fee which seems like normal for this area. "

"The Chalet is a13 minute walk from the Obertraun train station. It is an 8 minute walk to the bus to Hallstatt. Obertraun is a picturesque, peaceful village away from the crowds of Hallstatt. "Dated property in need of extensive renovations. Service is terrible and unfriendly. Food was either bland or over-salted, fish was overcooked and tasteless. Honestly the best thing at dinner were the chicken nuggets from the kids station. We ate in town our second night rather than have the hotel dinner we already paid for. Location is beautiful. "

I thought the woman was being murdered at first. It went on and on and on. Other than that everything was peaceful and serene. I think she was having a wonderful time.
