Overall, we enjoyed staying here quite nicely. The place has parking and is convenient (within 5-10m drive) to all downtown and university. It's also an easy walk to Liberty Park, a wonderful city park w/ aviary.
Grocery, quick bites & fine restaurants abound nearby. Sometimes, the homeless do, too. However, we never felt unsafe. The streets are well lit with plenty of health.
We stayed for just over a week to see our niece off to college! I was with spouse, mom and one adult child (one of us slept in the living room). Was very cozy, but comfortable. The unit was clean and well supplied for cooking and keeping things clean. The laundry unit was small, but efficient. The outside 'balcony' is too small to linger (and the flooring seemed rotting), but it was nice enough to open the sliding glass door for a breath of fresh air. We did run out of toilet paper, the owner kindly compensated. 7-11 is right next door.
The parking was a little tight (we had a large rental suv), and the initial garage/lockbox initially a little tricky (press and hold hard!) ... but overall the place was relaxing and enjoyable enough for us all week!
Would recommend.
