"A good value place to stay. Handy for main areas, 15 mins from ferry. Good size room but the tiniest shower ever. Make sure you arrange a check in time in advance as there was no one there when I arrived and had to track owner down by phone before he eventually came and let me in."

"We spent one night only and it was the perfect location in the center of Vulcano, close to the shops, the port and the start of the trail to the crater. Our room was very clean and gave on the very cute porch of the hotel. The owner was extremely friendly and welcoming, and we had a nice chat with him. He recommended a couple of places for us to have dinner. We were not rushed to check-out after we came back from our morning hike the next day. A great place to stay, in my opinion."

"Bon séjour dans ce B&B bien placé dans Lipari. Chambre spacieuse et plutôt confortable. Quelques défauts, la chambre était bruyante, lumineuse dès le petit matin et une odeur de renfermé persistante."

"Beautiful apartments in the perfect location. We booked the smaller room for two nights and it was amazeballs. Great communication from the hosts as well. Couldn’t have asked for more."

"The property is situated very conveniently by the centre of Malfa and is only a short walk to the beach. The rooms are lovely, clean and comfortable. We had a lovely breakfast aswell. However, what really stood out was the staff. Chiara, the receptionist, was incredibly helpful, friendly and polite and was able to really make a difference, going the extra mile to make our stay so excellent. She recommended day trips, helped us organise travel etc. Can not recommend enough. "

"In ottima posizione a pochi passi dal centro di Malfa, eppure eppure "isolato", in posizione sopraelevata con vista sul mare. Le camere, ognuna come un piccolo edificio a sè stante, collegate da vialetti fioriti, climatizzate, sono larghe e con terrazzina che si affaccia sul mare. Il titolare Gianfranco è cortese, simpatico, disponibile. Una colazione un pò più varia avrebbe significato la perfezione."

"An amazing stay at this wonderful B & B. Manuella was a great host explaining the best places to visit on Salina. The breakfasts were very good and made from local produce, with Manuella giving a detailed explanation of the produce. Room was very clean and a brilliant view from the patio where we had breakfast. We would thoroughly reccommend this property."

"The location is amazing and the house is a beautiful home typical of the island's style. Please note there are no amenities such shampoo, etc but there is a shop very close by. We did not have beach towels and they kindly brought us some. We would certainly stay there again it was a truly memorable stay. Thank you!"

"What an amazing stay. Very comfortable with breath taking views. The highlight of our stay was meeting our cousin. Next time we stay longer and we work on speaking better Italian!! Grazie Mille!"

"Bright, and clean with large rooms. Solid breakfast and early, a decent dinner menu but the service was excellent. Pool is not heated, probably best for summer as we found it cold. Just up the hill from Lipari which was nice for ocean views while dining, and quietness. "

Charming Island Stay

"Charming hotel on an island hillside with spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea. The morning buffet breakfast was all homemade with a combination of delicious eggs, smoked meats, grilled vegetables, pastries and cakes. The staff were welcoming, kind and helpful. Ben spoke four languages and made all the arrangements we needed for excursions and scooter rentals. He literally puts his whole heart into his job. We would definitely recommend staying here. On top of it, Lipari has beautiful panoramas and a castle spanning 3 different civilizations. So interesting and diverse! "

"I can't recommend Hotel Signum in Salina highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a warm and welcoming atmosphere that perfectly balances chic luxury with genuine hospitality. Our room was beautifully designed—spacious, stylish, and filled with thoughtful details that made our stay feel extra special. The breakfast was delicious, featuring fresh, local ingredients that set a perfect tone for the day. But the dining experience was truly out of this world; each meal was a culinary delight that showcased the best of Sicilian cuisine. A special shoutout to Laura, who was indispensable throughout our stay. She accommodated every request with grace and even organized a surprise for my wife’s birthday, making it a day we will never forget. The entire staff was friendly and helpful, ensuring that we felt taken care of from start to finish. Hotel Signum is a rare gem that leaves you wanting to return time and again.
