"The lake view is nice. The water is very high right now and so there is no beachfront (which is reportedly the case at most properties). Unfortunately, my room had no hot water (though they tried to turn it on??) and the wifi might as well be nonexistent. The Indian menu options at the restaurant are very tasty, however. Expectations should be kept in check."

"The Sunbird waterfront is a very nice modern property with very well appointed rooms. The restaurant is good – breakfast is very good. Staff are friendly and polite. I was disappointed by the lack of a tourist activity program, and very ad hoc approach to this. Some of the prices I was quoted for boat, rides, or other accompanied activities were ridiculous. "I loved this little place, thought it was the prettiest and most charming along the beach. Having a bar and restaurant onsite was definitely a bonus. The staff are lovely and I would really recommend doing the sunset boat trip with snorkeling and eagle feeding. Overall excellent value, so much so that we thought we were undercharged for all our food and drink!"
