"This was our first Christmas to be just the two of us in 20 years of being together. The cabin was clean and well furnished. This by far was the cabin with more to offer than I have ever seen. There is a large book and DVD collection. The kitchen is stocked with dishes and spices and everyday needs. We hung out at the cabin on Christmas Day and then ventured into Salida on the day after Christmas. This is an amazing area and the views are just stunning. "

"A River Runs Through has lots of beds and space for a large family. The only suggestion is to get some new pillows for some of the beds as some of them were very flat. We had a great time and it was a great home base for us, even had an office for some privacy to work."

"We had a great time for a few days of skiing and exploring. Pam was an excellent host with great communication well in advance of the stay and throughout. The house is in a great location close enough to town but also away enough to get some seclusion. Amazing views in every direction. It had everything needed including firewood for those cold nights."

It definitely felt like a cabin, and my son absolutely loved it. The home is bigger than it appears in pictures, and very comfortable. Our group of 9 fit perfectly. It's also perfectly located an easy 10 minute drive from town and restaurants. I found my stay to be very enjoyable! You are staying on a campsite in a tiny home, not at the Ritz. The tiny home was just that, a full home, just tiny!
