"There are two rooms in total, one is mixed room and the other is female room. Since my friend and I were the only guests that day, the owner treated us very good and very willing to provide information about nikko to us! And the hostel is quite close to JR and tobu station. We visited there in winter, and it was snowing, but inside the hostel was very warm, heaters and warm water bags were provided. I must stay there next time when travel to nikko."

"Ideal room setup for a family with small kids. The futons can be closed off with the partition allowing for separation between kids and adult. "Just a tip for those like us who are new to "no-receptionist check-in" stay-in/hotel/motel, make sure to check your email for the Room Number and Security Code. We got our "room information" via email, sent two days before the start of our stay. I highly suggest to arrive at location and check-in as early as allowed to give ample time to rectify any issues, and to pre-register/check-in. For example, in our case, we booked this December 2024 and it's snowing in Nikko, we arrived at our room...
